http://www.gizmondoforums.com/forums/index.php?act=page&pg=r006

This fantastic little puzzle received 8.9/10 on this independent forums review pages!!

In case u cannot (be bothered to) ;-) access the website here's the blurb on the sound....

"You cant fault the sound, addictive little tunes reminds me of those on Super Drop Mania and an announcer voice who really doesn’t sound to over the top with excitement as like the one found on lets say unreal tournament.
The sound in the game defiantly lightens even this dark and gothic soul so I consider this part of the game a success."

Subject: wotnoupdates?

Sorry for the lack of updates! I am receiving mails asking what is happening here at Together Towers.

The answer is lots of NDAs! Lots of new products will be released around Christmas with Suddi.com sound design but in the mean time it's mainly deadline city.... work work work ! Unfortunately NDAs mean we are gagged so until the product is out we gotta stay schtum.

A massive thanks to all that went to the Tangled Classics night... and cheers for the comments on the message board. We had a top night too. Especially playing Acid Uproar the stripped down 303 heavy version of Hardcore Uproar! It was a very last minute decision to play that but I am glad we did... went down a storm.

There is a Glasgow performance on the cards and a London date planned later in the year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his hard word work - tho he tells me he loved it - even so, when I can I will buy him a Ferrari as a thank you ;-) (I probably owe him one !)

Chris is an old friend of mine who, being a great guitarist and synthesist, I have worked with on numerous music projects. Having recently found our niches, mine being sound design and his being computer animation we are both currently active in games and multimedia. He is currently working in-house at Acclaim Studios.

Subject: Edinburgh gig cancelled !!

Bad news im afraid... The gig in Edinburgh this weekend has been cancelled. The headline DJ Tom Wilson has sadly passed away so the organizers have postponed the even in respect of Tom. I was really looking forward to meeting Tom for the first time to thank him in person for all his support over the years. He has put our music on two of his compilations. A real loss for the music industry. An even bigger loss for Scotland. I understand he was well respected all over Scotland and I guess he will be greatly missed.

Subject: FOUND IT ! the KFM radio interview from March 1990 !

This interview was conducted while Hardcore Uproar was still only on a tape. The interview was with Steve Toons and gives the reason as to why we were not called The Jam Factory - thank god :)

This is great finding this interview. It gives me a real reason to finish off the "What The Paper Say" section.. I've dozens of reviews and articles form various magazines. I will try and coincide this with adding the new graphics designed by Kris Collins (the 808 State/Sunset Radio fans from house musics easrly years will remember that Kris was 808 States tour DJ for the US and Japan. He also hosted their show while 808 were too hung over to come into work)

Subject: Recording of our first interview and the worlds first hearing of Hardcore Uproar!

I was hoping I still had this tape... and to be honest I'm amazed I found it. I knew I hadn't thrown it out but after much digging around in dusty tape boxes I've MP3'd the whole interview. Please excuse the gritty sound quality. The tape is almost 14 YEARS OLD !

This is hard to believe but we literally walked into the offices of Sunset Radio where Darren and Andy of 808 State had their radio show and asked them to play our new track. Not only did they agree but they asked if we would like to be interviewed... the rest... is a bit hazy :) It still makes me laugh how Jon managed to talk about my tonsil acrobats (to anyone!) minutes after meeting them. I barely spoke a word in the interview because I was so nervous.. Click here to download. (1.14Meg)

There was also an interview with Tim Howard for KFM Radio around the same time. Again we walked in there demanding they play the track: this is knocking about somewhere and will upload for download asap.. and I am hoping to trace the Radio One interview too. I do not have a  copy of this but the guys at One Music @ Radio One are doing all they can. Fingers X-ed.

Three new animations have been added to the sound design work. This is all the information I have so far: The first is based around a zombie.. fantastic! :) One is a part of the Lord Of The Rings tales. A bit of the Hobbit, I believe and the final one is described a cross between the works of directors Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Tim Burton. More details will be posted here over the next few weeks as I receive further information.

Oh man...I'm not sure I'm ready for this!!! :) I lead a quiet life these days!!!!

Studio: FREE ! The remix is now completed ! How long did that take? Sean's commitments with Badly Drawn Boy and Ian Brown has been taking him Stateside recently... so we're not just being lazy. We've actually been working. No release date has been set for this yet but I'm hoping to announce a date very soon once we have confirmation from the label that all is good with this version. There is talk of more remix's to fit in with the Whistlebump club sound.

Sound design: Check out the online review for sound design work on the "Loony Tunes Back In Action" game. Initial reviews are excellent! Gamezone gave the game 7.8 and the audio 8.5! :) See the "Games" section under "Releases" for more information.

Release of The Mind Recordings has been delayed (again) slightly as work commences on a new single. Can I stress that this has been brought into public domain under pressure and I do not, under any circumstances, want anything further to do with it once it has been made public. Just to be clear: Do not email me about this. I will discuss and respond to anything as long as I am not asked questions about The Mind Recordings. Due to the nature of the recordings I hope you honour this request. Thank you.

Site Update:

NOW ONLINE! A list of all games I've worked on can be found under the releases section with box artwork, reviews and/or screen shots where possible.

NOW ONLINE! Channel 4 interview with Tony Wilson has now been uploaded. Thank you to Jane Parker, Wilson's co-presenter for the loan of the tape!

The press features area of this site is pretty much non existent apart from a few unorganized pictures in the downloads area. I am hoping to work on this next .. along with the discography with scans of covers and vinyl labels. I am also in the process of designing a new front-end menu system for this site so as it expands and new areas are completed it is easier to find what you're looking for. After those things are sorted I will begin work on the Sound design and Studio Resources page featuring articles and more applications.

I have just found a piece from The Mirror dated 8th August 1990 !! [CLICK] to see their startling revelation :) 2 things about the cutting: 1. I am not called Siddi and 2.That's the top of Betty Boo's head, not me in drag.
